Spark Young Writers Magazine
Deadline: Mon 17 Jul 2017
Spark Young Writers Magazine wants to hear from you if you’re aged 8 – 20 and live or go to school in the West Midlands

Bring your best writing and discover what it’s like writing for a magazine. You will also learn how to make your work stand out and how to work with an editor, how to revise and develop your writing. There is no theme for the magazine, we are looking for poems, short stories, prose – any kind of creative writing as long as it is your own and is no longer than 500 words. You can submit up to 3 pieces of your creative writing.

If your piece of writing (or pieces) are accepted into the magazine, editor will provide feedback on your piece of writing and may ask you to edit it or request your permission to make small changes. All pieces featured in the magazine will be proofread and any minor changes will be made before publication.
