We are looking for Arts Award Advisers to speak at the regional Arts Award conference on Thursday 4 February 2016
The aim of the Arts Award Conference 2016 is to motivate every artist and cultural organisation in attendance to deliver just one (or just one more) complete Arts Award project during the 2016/17 financial year. The conference will feature a panel of Arts Award Advisers from across the CBNE sub-regions who have experience of delivering exciting and exceptional Arts Award programmes through to completion. The panel will deliver lectures and take part in moderated discussions and question and answers sessions.
Sessions at the conference will be:
Session 1: Arts Award Partnerships between Arts Organisations and Schools
Session 2: Freelance Artists as Advisers
Session 3: Building a Portfolio and Getting to Moderation
Session 4: Overcoming Challenges Panel Discussion
Session 5: Plan Your Arts Award Project Practical Session
Interested advisers can apply by email outlining their experience of delivering Arts Award as an adviser in no more than 200 words to Elizabeth Kane, Cultural Development Assistant Elizabeth@customshouse.co.uk. We would anticipate that interested advisers will have had at least two projects moderated (at Explore, Bronze, Silver or Gold Levels). The deadline for applications isFriday 27 November at 12.00pm.
