South Tyneside Libraries and The Customs House are seeking a storyteller to work with Key Stage 1 and 2 students during World Book Day 2017

South Tyneside Libraries and The Customs House are seeking a storyteller to work with Key Stage 1 and 2 students during World Book Day 2017 on Thursday 2nd March. We are interested in hearing creative responses to our short brief.

The appointed artist will entertain two groups of children with an interactive session at The Word in South Shields. Each session will last one hour, with both taking place during a half-day.

The appointed artist will have experience working with children aged 5 to 11 years and hold an enhanced DBS clearance and PLI of at least £5m.

The fee for the half-day is £200, including materials and travel.

Applications should take the form of a short outline of your storytelling sessions, and an outline of your experience. Applications should be sent to daniel@customshouse.co.uk by midnight on Friday 9th September
