Summer Short Story Competition
Deadline: Fri 12 Sep 2014
The Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning is proud to announce its inaugural Summer Short Story Competitions, open to adults and young people living within an LE postcode area
We are after stories no longer than 2500 words, and each competitor can only submit one story. The story must be an original piece of imaginative storytelling – no factual or autobiographical material. Otherwise there are no limits on what you can write.

Your story can be in any genre or style. We’re looking for well-told, lively, interesting tales, that’s all. If you think you have something that fits that description, why not have a try?

Adult: £300; Junior: £100. Plus publication for all adult winners and shortlisted stories in the 2014 Vaughan Centre for Lifelong Learning Short Story Anthology.
