Theatre Education Practitioners / Primary Workshop Leaders
Deadline: Tue 15 Apr 2014
Kamotion Theatre is on the look out for three inspiring workshop leaders to work with us to provide our exciting weekly classes in the Swindon area

Our ACT V classes offer children in primary school an opportunity to create and spill their imaginations into their very own empty space - from as young as 5, they experience a theatre world, share skills, collaborate and shine within different roles to make theatre magic happen. Our ACT V classes run across Wiltshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire to provide children with the opporunity to work with professional theatre practitioners and artists beyond the classroom to help them to shine within it. Our curriculum journey is crafted by the children participating and strives to make a difference to the lives of children every week.

Now we are expanding our classes across High Wycombe and Maidenhead Area Schools and wish to inject a fresh team of artists to offer their passions to our new students.

We are looking for humans (or thereabouts) with the following shining assets:

• Passion for creative learning
• Professional experience in the theatre industry
• Knowledge and Understanding of Physical theatre, puppetry, mask work and devising
theatre
• Experience of working within primary schools with Early years, KS1 and KS2 children
• Based around the Wiltshire area and able to travel to class venues
• Quirky, spontainous and entrancing to work with

The opportunity of taking on further responsibilities is a given, including increased number of classes per week, leading performance projects in local venues and a region leader to collaborate with our other artists for training.

Training will be provided in a fun, social, interactive and unexpected manner and time will be provided for meeting students and developing their curriculum as a team.

To apply please email Dan-Alex Rivers to show your interest, including a brief background on what you have done and what you can offer, and we will be in touch with the audition process
