Writing East Midlands support a network of groups for young writers across the East Midlands. Groups meet for two hours a month and are led by professional writers
Workshop assistants provide general support to the workshop leader, supporting smaller groups of young people to respond to writing exercises, providing constructive feedback and contributing to the smooth running of the sessions.
These are voluntary positions that would suit a new/ emerging writer looking to build their experience of working in community settings with children and young people.
