First Stage is our annual series of staged rehearsed readings of new short pieces of drama for two to six actors
Scripts should be for 2 to 6 actors and 10 to 30 minutes in length. Writers MUST be available to attend a performance of their play, if selected, on at least one of the last three First Stage dates (
Sunday 23rd November, 7th or
14th December) Scripts not selected in the first round may be resubmitted, after reworking, if the writers would like them to be reconsidered.
