Youth Arts Development Coordinator

Youth Arts Collective North East (YACNE) is an innovative partnership of 21 organisations working together to deliver an ambitious, inspirational and educational programme of multi art form activity for young people in Aberdeen and the North East of Scotland aged 0-25
We are looking for a passionate and committed professional to coordinate the exciting programme of work being delivered by the YACNE partnership. This post will be responsible for working with the partners to help them create and deliver projects and activities which achieve the collective aspirations to develop the youth arts infrastructure, increase participation in and improve access to the arts for young people, help young people to progress and excel in the arts, and to celebrate and share the achievements of young people in the arts. We are seeking an experienced youth arts professional adept at bringing people together, with excellent administrative skills and an ability to connect with both young people and fellow professionals.
The postholder will be employed by Aberdeen Performing Arts (APA), the lead partner of the collective. APA is a major cultural hub for the North East of Scotland, inspiring, exploring and engaging through live performance and creative projects in our three distinctive city centre venues - His Majesty’s Theatre, the Music Hall and The Lemon Tree.
Salary £26,000 p.a.
(full time, fixed term 18months)
