Mentoring with Kevan Manwaring
Tue 16 Feb 2016
Do you need help getting started, keeping going, or finishing? Writing a book and getting it published is like running two marathons. Avoid the loneliness of the long-distance writer by getting support and advice along the way
As an experienced writer and creative writing lecturer I can mentor you through your project, be it prose, poetry, or script. What are your goals? What is your authentic writing voice? What are your USPs as a writer? I can help you identify these and prepare you for the big pitch and beyond. My clients have gone on to find agents, secure contracts, and win competitions. We’ll start with an initial 20 min consultation to discuss your needs, then proceed at your pace with regular skype, phone or face-to-face sessions, based upon submitted work. Let me help you reaching the finishing line. Initial consultation: free; regular sessions: £45 per hour. Pay as you go, or book 6 for a discount.
