Bilborough College students have published an anthology of work produced while studying for the new AQA qualification.
Jane Bluett, NAWE Committee member and teacher at Bilborough College, Nottingham, is proud of her students who produced the anthology themselves. She writes:
"They have worked with script writers, novelists and poets, won competitions and been published themselves. They have produced a huge range of work and supported each other throughout. They have turned a classroom into a creative space and made the course their own."
Jane will be running a session at the NAWE Conference (shared with another Creative Writing A Level teacher, Sarah Oliver) focusing on the students' achievements in this first year of the AQA qualification being introduced in schools across England.
The anthology is published in printed form and as a pdf available to download opposite.
