The next meeting of NAWE's PhD Network will take place at Birkbeck, University of London, Saturday 3 December, 1.30–4.30pm.
Only Connect was created in an attempt to offer networking opportunities and support to creative writing PhD students from across the country. With the help of NAWE, we held our first meeting last year. People came from far and wide, much was shared and contacts were exchanged. Subjects tackled included discussion and guidance on the creative/critical divide, employment in an HE framework and alternatives, publishing, and building a career post-PhD.
After the success of last year’s meeting, we’ve organised a second meeting, on Saturday 3rd December, at Birkbeck University, London (Rooms 252-254 Malet Street, WC1E 7HX). The event will be held 1-30-4.30pm. Everyone is welcome, from those considering a PhD, to PhD students and their supervisors.
