This day was run in partnership with Writing East Midlands, Writing West Midlands and De Montfort University. Workshops included Rhyming with Children aged 5-10, Creative Writing with Dyslexic Learners, Using Words as Play and Setting Lives on Fire – The Art of Teaching Autobiography, and many more. We received some excellent feedback, and plan to run similar events in the future.

We are also aiming to publish a set of articles relating to the workshops offered within a future edition of Writing in Education.

We have set up a Skill Sharing page within the Writing in Schools section of this website, where you can read Paul Munden's summary of the event, download Sue Horner's presentation slides, and access a participant's blog. Anyone who participated in the day is most welcome to contribute material of their own.
