I write contemporary women's fiction and YA time-slip adventures. I teach currently Creative Writing, Life Writing and English to adult learners. Before being published, I was a lawyer, then a childminder, and finally a professional fundraiser.
I love meeting people and talking about writing and books. Recent appearances include: Pontyclun Book Fair, Ex Libris Reading Group, Tiverton Literary Festival and Chippenham Arts Festival (Chippfest), and Rhondda Book Fair. Extensive media experience, particularly in radio. Have appeared on several BBC local radio stations, and Radio 4’s You and Yours.
I serve on the national committee of the Romantic Novelists' Association, and am a member of the Society of Authors.

"20 November 2009" Autobiographical piece (10,000 words). Selected by Bath Spa University to represent the faculty at the Association of Writers and Writing Programs, Intro Journal Competition, 2010.

"Rosie Goes to War" by Alison Knight. A young adult time-slip novel. Published by Accent Press Ltd 14 April 2016. Launched at London Book Fair, on 12 April 2016. Featured in the Book Zone (YALC) at London Film and Comic Con, Jul 2016.
"A Gust of Autumn Wind" by A.R. Knight. A mainstream family drama set in 1960s London. First chapter was a finalist for the Romantic Novelists’ Association’s Elizabeth Goudge Trophy in 2015. This novel is currently unpublished.
