Fiona Hamilton’s poetry includes Bite Sized (Jessica Kingsley Publishers, 2014) and Fractures (Gomer Press, 2016). She has written for public art and performance, and fiction for radio and page.
Her non-fiction writing looks at creative writing process and applications in health and wellbeing work - as in the book Medicine, Health and the Arts (Routledge, 2013).
Founder of Orchard Foundation, she devises and teaches courses involving creative writing - they include 'Exploring Play' and 'Introduction to Writing for Wellbeing' as well as forums for conversations and fresh understandings on topics from mental health to later life. She is mentor to a number of writers, facilitators, and researchers.
Fiona is tutor and research adviser for Metanoia Institute's MSc in Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes.
