The Story Café™and Words for WellBeing workshops are facilitated by local coach and creative writing practitioner, Lisa Rossetti, using stories and creative writing for well-being purposes.
Story-telling and creative writing are proven to be of therapeutic benefit to people suffering from low morale and self-esteem, stress, mild anxiety, short term depression, and lack of confidence, due to isolation or difficult life transitions.
The Story Café™can be delivered onsite in your organisation as part of a staff well-being activities programme as well as to service user groups, or in your community as a drop-in event. The Story Café can be a one-off event, eg celebrating Awareness Days, or an ongoing activity.
The Words for Wellbeing 6-week programme offers more in-depth personal inquiry and deeper therapeutic benefits, and can be themed for groups with any special well-being needs.
Who is it for? Anybody looking for a gentle and well-being, as well as communication skills.
What Are the Benefits? Each workshop offers inspiring stories and poems, exploring themes and personal insights through creative writing and conversations. Participants will take away greater well-being and confidence, a better sense of Self, fresh insights and new directions.
