I am happy to provide a reference for Michael Harris. As the Director of BREAZONE, the Breeze Hill EiC Action Zone, I have hired Mike on many occasions during the last four years to deliver a variety of Drama based projects for children ranging from 10 to 15 years of age.
Mike is an inspirational leader of youth projects with the organisational skills to sort out and manage appropriate workshops and the imagination to stimulate the whole-hearted participation of the young people themselves.
He has led workshops of up to fifty primary school children as well as leading week-long script conferences for smaller groups of talented writers. He has enabled young people to write good Drama and written high-quality Drama himself to address a specific target audience. He is well aware of current intitiatives in education, has worked equally well with primary or secondary pupils and within a range of settings.
Mike is extremely professional, showing strong commitment to what he does and demanding it from others. He has gained the respect of teachers and pupils across the schools that make up BREAZONE and I have no hesitation in recommending him very highly.
