I am a writer and teacher of creative writing. My specialist areas are prose
poetry and short prose, along with autobiography or life writing. I also have a
strong interest in music and text. I have taught across the adult sector: in
prisons, in AE,FE, HE (undergraduate and postgraduate) etc, and am currently a
Lecturer at the University of Kent.
Book of prose poetry -- How to Be a Dragonfly (Smith/Doorstop 2005) -- won the
2004 Poetry Business Book & Pamphlet competition. Novella -- Losing You -- will
be published by Bluechrome in 2007. Shortlisted for Asham Award twice, and
