I have been a published writer since 1988 initially writing fiction for young adults and now fiction and non-fiction for both children and adults. Since 2003 I have moved into writing-for-wellbeing work and have held a number of residencies in hospitals, hospices and GP surgeries. I am a trained secondary teacher and have done author visits to schools and led writing workshops for young people since the early 1990s. I also teach creative writing to adults and have led retreats and Quiet Days for people of all ages.
