Emily Young
"Once a book has been released into the world, it no longer belongs to the author. I want to create something that is owned and shaped by my readers, and which they feel passionate enough to carry on."
Emily Young was born May 1992, the last of five daughters. She learnt quickly that she needed to find something to own, something that was specifically hers, and that something was writing. She attended Aberystwyth University 2010 - 2013, graduating with a 2:1 BA in English Literature and Creative Writing.
Since graduating, she has been working for several different publishing houses and writing associations, including Vally Press and Greenleaf Publishing. She hopes to secure herself an internship in editorial work that will lead to a more permanent position.
