Nathan Connolly
“I can’t explain why I write; there doesn’t seem to be much else to do. I find it more interesting why people don’t write.”
Born in 1987 Nathan Connolly has been writing since he was a child and he had to pass the time at his Grandmother’s house after school.
Sometime after that it became the answer he gave to people when they asked, “what do you do?”
He graduated from Manchester metropolitan University, where he studied
English and Film, in 2009. He is a keen student of the Deleuzian analysis of literature, films and philosophy.
Since University he has worked a variety of jobs that have had absolutely
nothing to do with writing and a lot to do with pulling pints. This has
occasionally been interspersed with work on film productions across the
country in a number of positions from Camera Assistant to Script Editor.
Any possible moment he can he writes short stories, long stories, poems, plays and films. He is currently the editor of TheNightLight website along with Tom Hughes.
