At the heart of the finest travel books, memoirs and histories is a writer’s passion. This week is an opportunity to explore your passions, obsessions or memories and to develop your work in a supportive and inspiring environment. We will be on hand to offer detailed advice on motivation, structure, voice and character, leaving the rest of the time for you to make real progress with your writing.

After booking on the course, participants are invited to submit up to 2,000 words of a work-in-progress. If you wish to submit your work in advance please email it to thehurst@arvon.org by 11 August 2017.
