This five-day course at Lumb Bank will explore all aspects of fiction writing – finding and sustaining an authentic voice, creating rich characters and developing compelling plot.
You will share and discuss. You will give and receive feedback. You will write and re-write. You will discover how dialogue can be used to generate dramatic traction. You will think about your story’s underlying ethical message(s) and how to approach the moral progression of your characters. If you are experiencing apathy or loss of direction, this course will fill you with the energy and inspiration to continue your work with renewed vigour.
