Overcoming Adversity: A Poetry Therapy Workshop with Charmaine Pollard
Fri 24 Nov 2017 to Fri 24 Nov 2017
Although adversity is inevitable, being defeated by it is optional. Let’s explore together, discover new steps to overcoming adversity using poetry, conversation and self-reflective writing activities.

Do you want to discover a new path to climb your mountain? Do you want opportunities for wisdom and growth in a safe, supportive environment? Do you want to improve your performance next time? If you have answered ‘yes’ to any of the questions, then this workshop is for you. Using poetry, conversation and self-reflective writing activities. We will nurture the seeds and utilise the skills you have employed during tough times in the past to cultivate courage, self-belief and resilience.

This experiential workshop is for anyone who enjoys journaling, writing for personal development or professional development, or who is interested in using therapeutic writing with groups.

Charmaine Pollard is a Certified Poetry Therapist, Counsellor and Life Coach. Over the past decade she has facilitated personal development and poetry therapy workshops in schools, colleges and in the community.
