The Winchester Writers’ Festival 2017
Fri 16 Jun 2017 to Tue 30 May 2017
The Winchester Writers’ Festival brings emerging writers together for three days of workshops, talks, and one-to-ones with literary agents and editors

The Winchester Writers’ Festival brings emerging writers together for three days of workshops, talks, and networking with over 70 acclaimed authors, poets, screenwriters, literary agents and editors. This year’s Festival takes place at the University of Winchester on 16-18 June and writers working in any form or genre may book for one day, two days or all three days.

Choose from 18 all-day workshops, 27 talks and book up to four one-to-one appointments with literary agents, editors and other publishing experts. Listen to Lemn Sissay MBE give the Keynote address, sign up for open mics and put questions to a panel of independent publishers. The Festival offers ten free places to writers aged 18-25, and runs ten writing competitions.
