The Emerge Training Programme; a professional development programme for artists, aged 16-25, working in any creative medium (visual arts, theatre, music, spoken word, photography etc.) The programme is designed to equip participants with the skills, experience and contacts that they need to build their own creative career, and contribute to Peterborough’s growing creative sector.

Previous trainees include artists working in Theatre, Spoken Word, Music and Visual Arts. Each trainee has taken a leading role in organising local events that appeal to people in their own age range, and have completed training in marketing, budget management and grant fundraising in addition to undertaking work placements at arts organisations including The Junction (Cambridge), Apples and Snakes (London), The Drawing Room (London), Vivacity Arts, New Wolsey Theatre (Ipswich) and Eastern Angles Theatre (Ipswich and Peterborough).
