The School of Writing & Journalism is at the forefront of its field, delivering innovative and creative industry-focussed undergraduate courses in English, Journalism, and Creative Writing, and postgraduate provision in Professional Writing and Writing for Script & Screen. Our Writers in Residence programme brings award-winning authors such as Wyl Menmuir, Emily Barr, Matt Haig, and Lionel Shriver for creative workshops, lectures, and events, enabling our students to collaborate with industry experts.
We are seeking a Senior Lecturer/Course Coordinator, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality teaching in Higher Education, a strong research profile, and excellent organisational skills. You will join a team of three Course Coordinators and the Head of Subject to ensure the management and delivery of an outstanding student experience across undergraduate courses in English & Writing. You will contribute to teaching across Creative Writing (prose fiction or non-fiction may be an advantage), and lead on the development of industry-engaged project modules.
