Writing East Midlands and Nottingham Contemporary are seeking two writers in residence as part of our Write Here residency programme.
Nottingham Contemporary is a leading international art gallery with a strong local sense of purpose. Its exhibitions have been described as “constantly inventive” and they are passionate about connecting people to their exhibitions and programmes for learning. Their remit is international art for everyone for free.
Writing East Midlands is supporting Nottingham Contemporary to seek and appoint two professional freelance writers as writers-in-residence. The appointed writers will be experienced in working with children and young people, to generate new writing and foster an interest in the arts and contemporary art practice, through writing and words for pleasure and empowerment.
