These workshops look at the art of writing reviews to a professional standard
This will include different types of review, such as book, theatre, movie, holiday and travel, and product reviews. The course will move on to examine possible markets, for example, magazines and online, and advice on submitting to editors. There will be opportunities to study published reviews and to pen your own compositions. This will inv-olve peer critiquing, editing and re-writing. The emphasis will be on a relaxed and creative atmosphere. Be ready to write!
The Tutor
Ian Douglas is a Nottingham writer with an MA in Creative Writing and a back-ground in education. He has been writing reviews in the press and online for over ten years. He is a published non-fiction author.
