Staffroom Monologues
We are delighted that Teachers TV, in partnership with the National Union of Teachers, has been seeking out great writers in the world of education. In March 2008 they invited teachers to write a fictional monologue between 800 and 1,000 words in length on any aspect of school life, from the perspective of someone who works in a school. Three winning scripts were made into films and two were recorded as audio versions. We hope that the project will run again in the future and will announce any details here. Meanwhile you can view this year's winning entries, as below.
