Londnr Magazine in association with Spread the Word presents an exciting new competition for writers in London. 

Now in its second year, Londnr Magazine is launching a print version to run alongside its strong digital presence. A curated publication focused on the arts, lifestyle and culture in our capital, Londnr’s ethos is firmly rooted in supporting, nurturing and providing a platform for writers. 

In keeping with this, we also run Londnr Events, which seek to arm writers across all disciplines with advice, bringing together talks to help authors, and working with speakers from the BBC Writers Room to Curtis Brown, Harrods Magazine to Waterstones. 

Committed to promoting talented emerging writers, Londnr is now seeking new voices to join our staff writers. This competition is an excellent opportunity for London-based writers (or writers with access to London) to gain broad exposure to their work and join a vibrant community of creatives at Londnr Magazine!

The winner will receive:

• A fully paid, feature-length article published in the first print issue of our forthcoming A/W 2017 magazine, to be distributed across the UK.
• In addition, the winner will be offered a paid contract for a set of three articles for the Londnr online .
• Mentoring with experienced editors to produce all articles to the highest possible standard whilst remaining in keeping with the author’s voice.
• Free ticket (with plus 1) to the launch party of our first print issue.
• Free ticket (with plus 1) to two other Londnr Events of their choice. 
• London Writers Network membership

Two runners-up will recieve:

• A fully paid contract for 3 articles for the Londnr online. 
• Mentoring with experienced editors to produce all articles to the highest possible standard whilst remaining in keeping with the author’s voice.
• Free ticket (with plus 1) to the launch party of our first print issue.
• Free ticket (with plus 1) to one other Londnr Event of their choice. 
• London Writers Network membership

Entry fee for the competition is 4 GBP; and includes a free copy of the first print issue (worth £4.50). The deadline for the entries is 1st June 2017. Please read the detailed entry requirements and rules below.
