We will be holding ‘The Arvon 5-day Poetry Challenge’ during the week of National Writing Day. Each day, from Monday 24 to Friday 28 June, you will receive an email from Arvon with a handy writing prompt from acclaimed poet Jen Hadfield.
The sequence of emails are designed to guide you through the poetry-writing process step by step, from first to final draft.
By the end of the week you will have at least one shiny new poem ready to send out into the world.
Whether you’re new to poetry or a pro, this challenge is guaranteed to inspire you. It’s open to everyone and completely free.
Competition: We will be running a competition in conjunction with the challenge for the three best poems written during the week. First prize will win an Arvon 1-1 online Poetry tutorial with Jen Hadfield worth £150. Two runner-ups will win free Arvon Friends memberships for three months.
