We are keen to develop an exchange between the company and artists who wish to test, explore, develop or research their ideas/practice in a creative space amongst creative people. 

We take a very wide view of what art and art practice is….. visual, writer, digital, juggler, you might even just be thinking, you may be an environmentalist, you may just wish to hang out with us…. we are open to all suggestions and will consider them by application.

Duration: 1 - 6 weeks (weekends optional)

The Space: A small ground floor studio approx 19m sq is available alongside the old engine bay (which can be used for large scale making, theatre rehearsal, experimental work or other performance practice). In addition, other rooms including the fire station’s mess, small meeting room, and reprographics room can be used. Wifi will be available to artists.

Fee: This is an unpaid residency. The space and support are offered free to the artist and a per diem of £20 per day and travel expenses for one return journey will be paid. Accommodation can be provided free of charge if required. Eden Arts will also support artists wishing to submit funding applications in relation to this residency opportunity.
