Gregory O'Donoghue International Poetry Prize: Open for submissions
Deadline: Fri 30 Nov 2018
Open to original, unpublished poems in the English language of less than 40 lines. The poem can be on any subject, in any style, by a writer of any nationality, living anywhere in the world.

Prizes

•1st Prize: €1000, a week's residency at the Tyrone Guthrie Centre, paid travel expenses and 4 nights accommodation in Cork city during the Cork International Poetry Festival 2019 and publication in Southword Journal
•2nd Prize: €500 & publication in Southword
•3rd Prize: €250 & publication in Southword

Ten runners-up will be published in Southword and receive a €30 publication fee.

Entry fee: €5 per poem | €20 for five
