Lucent Dreaming 2022 Short Story Prize

We would like to invite you to submit your best unpublished stories between 1,500 and 4,000 words on the theme of hope. 1st Prize: £1000 plus publication on our website and in print. International entrants welcome.
All stories will be considered for publication in a new Lucent Dreaming anthology and in Lucent Dreaming’s magazine.

Highly Commended
Highly commended and shortlisted stories will be considered for a future Lucent Dreaming publication. Stories selected for publication will receive a contributor fee and free copy of the publication.
Entry fee: £6
Entries are free for those from low-income backgrounds in the UK, from households earning £16,000/$20,000 or less per year. There is no need to declare or prove your income threshold.
Plus! This year there is an opportunity for new/emerging writers to help judge a portion of our entries for a fixed fee of £50!
