The David Nobbs Memorial Trust Comedy Writing Competition 2019
Deadline: Sun 23 Jun 2019
For writers at the start of their careers in comedy. Open to any individual or comedy writing partnership aged 18 or over at the time of submission and currently resident in the UK who has at least one credited broadcast comedy writing credit. First Prize: £500 Runners-up (up to two) £250 each.
Entrants must not be working in broadcast as a full-time comedy writer, or as a full-time freelance broadcast comedy writer at the time of submission.
The David Nobbs Memorial Trust has been established by comedy producers, performers and people who knew and loved David, with the blessing of his family, to honour his memory by supporting new comedy writing in the UK.
