Arvon - Starting to Write a Play
Mon 22 May 2017 to Sat 27 May 2017
What are some key elements that go into writing a play? How do you find and hold on to your voice? How might you start thinking about characters and plot?
In a course aimed at first-time playwrights, we’ll tackle these questions and more, including structure and how you can work it to your advantage, the elements that make writing for the stage different from television, lm or radio, and how you can make your play stand out. Through group sessions and tutorials, we’ll help you find your way to a first draft.
