Brunel New Writers Programme (Online/July-August 2026)

Brunel University of London is a proud partner of the Nero New Writers Prize. To further amplify this partnership, we have curated a series of free online creative writing workshops and publishing webinars to support the continued professional development of all aspiring writers.
The workshops with award-winning writers include Writing Short Stories with Lucy Caldwell, Writing Narrative Non-Fiction with Sophie Elmhirst and Writing Children’s and YA Fiction with Patrice Lawrence.
There will also be three industry webinars breaking down the path to publication of adult fiction, adult non-fiction and children’s fiction.
