City Lit Masterclass: Fiction with Jonathan Barnes (Online)

This intensive three-term fiction workshop is designed to support advanced and professional fiction writers who are working on long or short form fiction projects with a view to publication. Apply by 30th August.

The course offers an opportunity to share and receive constructive critical feedback, network with other writers, and discuss elements of advanced fictional craft. 

Open for enrolment by application only. Maximum of ten places. It is suitable only for fiction writers who have advanced workshop experience (e.g. Masters level) and/or a history of publication.

Jonathan Barnes is the author of three novels. He writes regularly for the Times Literary Supplement and the Literary Review and has contributed to the Arts pages of The Lancet. He is a lecturer in Creative Writing at Kingston University.

Deadline for applications is Sunday 30 August 2020.

Dates: Mondays, 19:40 - 21:40, 21 September 2020 - 12 July 2021 (32 sessions over 43 weeks)
