Dialect Writing Craft Series: Beginning to Write

Join acclaimed writer and founder of Dialect JLM Morton on this fun and interactive six-part course exploring the basics of beginning to write. It will take place in Stroud and will also be available as a correspondence course.

We’ll begin by kickstarting your writing habit and go on to explore some of the key features of creative writing, from observation and point of view to characterisation and form.

Dates: Mondays at 7-9pm, 13 September - 6 December 2021
Location: The Sub Rooms (1st floor Bar) in Stroud and also available as an online course (see below).
Cost: £216.50 for the whole term. Please note that this course is payable in instalments - see the Sub Rooms event page for details. Full and partial bursaries are available.

Online: We know that for many rural writers, online learning has opened up new and exciting opportunities to develop their practice, so we’re committed to continuing our online offer. This course will also be available as a correspondence course at the reduced rate of £150 (also payable in instalments).
