Irish Writers Centre Autumn Programme 2021
Mon 6 Sep 2021 to Tue 9 Nov 2021
We are launching our new Autumn Programme 2021 with a wide range of new courses on offer covering everything from Wild Writing to TikTok for Beginners!

Course highlights include Writing in the Dark - Poetry for the Waning Year with Jessica Traynor. Starting on 5th October, as the evenings begin to draw in, this six-week poetry course takes inspiration from the arcane and the uncanny to generate new poems.

Next up is TikTok for Beginners (Best Tips and Practices for Novice Creators) with Úna-Minh Kavanagh which is a 90-minute crash course aimed at complete beginners. It covers best practices when it comes to maintaining and creating content over on TikTok. Suitable for those who are serious at looking to focus on video content, storytelling, and creativity as part of their work.

For our nature lovers we have Wild Writing with Anthony J Quinn. A series of workshops on writing about the natural world, landscape and place that will offer writers the opportunity to craft their skills in evoking settings, imagined, remembered or lost.

Finally we have Experiments in Prose with Joanna Walsh which explores a variety of experimental writing techniques that can be used to enrich all genres of writing, from the short story, to the novel, to poetry and creative non-fiction.
