Nature Writng Day with Mark Cocker
Sat 1 Jul 2017 to Sat 1 Jul 2017
Award-winning author, naturalist and environmental activist Mark Cocker invites you to spend the day at his much-loved Blackwater Wood, a private fen woodland on the banks of the River Yare

Over the course of your visit you will experience the woodland in its summer glory whilst honing your skills in field note-taking, accurate observation and descriptive writing. Mark will guide you through writing exercises which will help you to observe nature deeply, including as much detail as possible, and develop your editing skills by re-visiting your descriptive work.

Please bring your own lunch.  Please note there are no public toilet facilities at the woodland reserve, however private al fresco locations will be available!

This exclusive masterclass is limited to just 10 participants to support close observation of the natural environment.
