Our next NAWE Member Meet-Up on Wednesday 11 June is a chance to share updates on our practice and to find out what other NAWE Members are up to. We'll be focusing on creative writing for well-being in the second half of the Meet-Up.
While we will cover all aspects of creative writing work in the first half of the Meet-Up, the last 30 minutes will focus on creative writing for well-being.
The session will be hosted by NAWE Trustee Jane Moss alongside NAWE member Victoria Field.
Jane Moss facilitates community writing groups in local places, co-hosts The Writing Retreat and provides writing and training in health and social care contexts.
Victoria Field is a writer, researcher and poetry therapist based in Canterbury, Kent. She trained with the International Federation for Biblio/Therapy and is now a Mentor for others in training. With Anne Taylor, she codirects the long running Professional Writing Academy courses in Therapeutic and Reflective Writing and Running Writing Workshops. She's a Sessional Lecturer at Canterbury Christ Church University where her PhD was on narratives of transformation in pilgrimage. She has a long association with Lapidus International.
If you have experience of working in the field of creative writing for well-being, or are interested in doing so, please do come along and share your thoughts.
