Northern Writers' Awards: Hachette Writing for Children Roadshow

New Writing North and Hachette are delighted to be taking the Northern Writers’ Awards to Sheffield with a roadshow dedicated to supporting children’s writers.

We’ll be joined by Fiction Editorial Director of Hachette Children's Group, Kate Agar; Senior Commissioning and Managing Editor Rachel Wade; and Senior Commissioning Editor Tig Wallace. They will be sharing their expertise and experience with us across a series of panels.

Confirmed speakers also include the children’s agent and judge, Chloe Seager, and the author and winner of the 2019 prize, James Harris.

The roadshow will include sessions on the author-agent relationship, the publishing process, and advice for writers considering applying for the Northern Writers’ Awards.

A limited number of one-to-one slots are available between 5pm - 6pm.
