We are running a series of exciting courses tutored by fresh voices from The New Poets Collective. These courses are designed to be dynamic, affordable, and accessible one-off workshops with brilliant, burgeoning voices.

Expect innovative themes, cutting edge techniques, and exciting new tutors.

Here are three of the courses that are happening soon: 

Where Poetry Meets Notions of ‘Performance’ with Jess Murrain
This workshop will explore poetry through the lens of ‘performance’. It will challenge assumptions on what performance lends to poetry and vice versa.

Making in the Margins with April Yee
Writing in the often-forgotten zones. Where can a poet from the margins find space to write? The footnote, the citation, the alt text: all of these are potential sites for creative play.

Blurring Empire: A Visual Poetry Workshop with Rona Luo
How does visual poetry make space for multiplicity? By playing with the page as a visual and communal space, we will explore non-linear and interactive possibilities in poetry to create new modes of reading and writing.
