Quaker Tapestry Museum Kendal: Creative Writing Workshops with Geraldine Green in 2021

Would you like to know more about the Quaker Tapestry embroidered panels? During our creative writing workshops, led by tutor and writer-in-residence, Geraldine Green, you will delve into the stories and journeys behind the creation of these unique textile pieces. Set around the theme of ‘Journeys’, this series of Creative Writing workshops is now taking place in 2021 (postponed from 2020).

Each workshop will comprise of a series of gentle writing prompts and variety of stimuli based around the Quaker Tapestry panels.

You don’t need any previous creative writing experience and you can write in any genre you choose: poetry, prose, letters or a journal. Hand-outs for group discussion, relating to each workshop, will be provided by the tutor.

Each workshop is ‘stand alone’. You are welcome to come to one or all of them.

They take place on Saturdays, 10am-4pm. Cost: £40 including refreshments. Please bring your own lunch.
