Sidmouth Folk Festival 2026 Poetry Workshops and Open Mic

Ilse Pedler returns as poet in residence at Sidmouth Folk Festival and will be holding a series of poetry writing workshops. Topics this year include musical instruments, ballad writing and building boats of resilience!
Date: Sunday 2nd August to Thursday 6th August 2026, 11.30-1pm
Location: The Royal Glen Hotel, Sidmouth
Cost: Donation
Workshops are open to non-festival goers as well as those with festival tickets.
There will also be a poetry open mic, open for all, on Thursday 6th August 2026, 5-6.30pm, at The Royal Glen Hotel. Sign up on the door for a slot.
