Thinking in Fragments: (Re)Writing Meaning through Poetry
Wed 17 Jun 2026 to Wed 8 Jul 2026
A four-week online poetry writing course with Anthony Anaxagorou, FRSL

Taking inspiration from Ludwig Wittgenstein's Tractatus Logico-Philosophicus and Brenda Hillman's Death Tractates, this four-week course explores the tractate as a powerful form of poetic inquiry.

Through short, declarative fragments, participants will investigate subjects such as grief, joy, extremity, and outrage, discovering how poetic form can generate new ways of thinking and writing about familiar experiences.

Led by award-winning poet Anthony Anaxagorou FRSL, participants will develop their own tractate sequences while exploring fragmentation, repetition, and conceptual focus as tools for creative and reflective practice.

Dates: Wednesdays, 18:30–20:30 (London time), 17 June–8 July 2026
Location: Online via Zoom
Cost: £200 (£170 for LABRC Members)
