Led by Bloodaxe poet Helen Ivory, this ten week course will help you get to grips with key elements of writing poetry
Whether you’re taking up poetry for the first time or you’ve already started but could do with extra support – this course is for you. Led by Bloodaxe poet Helen Ivory, this ten week course will help you get to grips with key elements of writing poetry, from imagery and metaphor to how the poem looks on the page and sounds to the ear.

Your efforts will be rewarded with a Certificate of Attendance from the University of East Anglia.
