Writing from Art: Ekphrasis (Summer School)

Learn how to ‘paint with words’ on this two-day Nottingham Trent University course for writers of both prose and poetry. With Becky Cullen.
The course explores ekphrastic writing, where you use art as inspiration in your work and expand its meaning through perspective, character and technique to create your own written masterpiece.

No experience of writing or art is necessary.

Tutor: Becky Cullen is a poet and AHRC-Midlands3Cities funded researcher at Nottingham Trent University. She’s also host of the Totally Wired early evening poetry series, currently in its third season.
