Administration and Development Officer

The Scottish Storytelling Centre is currently looking to recruit a skilled and experienced administrator to work as part of the team to help identify areas of potential growth and improvement for the Centre and the service we offer.

To be successful in this role you will be able to demonstrate having worked in a busy administration role, showing strong attention to detail and with a readiness to use your initiative. You should be someone who is organised and can use multiple IT systems to a strong level to assist your work. You will be experienced at coordinating events and have knowledge of issues faced by people who may have additional access needs, presenting a can-do and positive approach to your work.

This is a fixed-term post for one year. You will work 35 hours per week on a flexible rota which will include evenings and weekends.

The Scottish Storytelling Centre is a partnership between The Church of Scotland and TRACS – Traditional Arts and Culture Scotland. The SSC is a vibrant arts venue with a seasonal programme of live storytelling, theatre, music, exhibitions, workshops, family events, and festivals.
